Very Computer

Hey there,

I'm having a spot of difficulty getting a 2.4.2 up to 2.4.9 kernel
compiled with the 'athlon' architecture type. I'm using a Duron 900mhz
with a Soltek SL-75KAV motherboard (KT133A chipset). The 2.4.9 kernel
seems to work fine with the i686 architecture but I'd like to get the
optimisation for my CPU type. Any help or maybe a config file from
someone would be greatly appreciated.

I initially compiled w/Athlon and AGP and got kernel panics.  With a lot
of stuff to set up I went through a few more kernel compiles.  My last
(working fine) was w/Athlon set and AGP off (RH7.1, 2.4.2, ASUS DDR m/b).
I'm assuming the only option you changed between fail and success was the
Athlon option but if it helps I'll mail my last cfg...
