ATI Graphics Expression 2MB VLB
RAMDAC:STG1702 ( J-13Z ) ##This is what's printed on the chip,SuperProbe
reports the RAMDAC to be an AT&T20C498 !?
clockchip 18818 - 1
I got (as usual) Problems with the XF86_Mach64-server. I tried Versions
3.1.2, 3.1.2A, 3.1.2B. What's driving me crazy is that all probs that
are commented on the net are about Mach64-revisions with newer Ramdacs,
mine should work with any of the above servers. It doesn't and I'm not _so_
Any way I try to configure the accelerated server stops the computer.
Most of the possible configurations won't stop to write a .X.err-file,
if they do, it ends up with an unexpected signal 11, errno 13 (? I'm not so sure
the error code, I got no way of reproducing this as I'm using Windoze right
The screen just goes black, but the Monitor does not switch frequencies
and the Sync seems to stay (Monitor(Sony 15sf)does not switch into
Power-Saving). The Computer won't accept Ctrl+Alt+BS and mostly not
even ctrl+alt+del. I wonder if this has anything to do with the aperture
but I don't understand this feature as I find it allmost totally undocumented.
My Ram amounts to 8MB,I use Kernel 1.2.13 and the AcceleratedX-Demo works fine.
Included is the output of X -probeonly.
