i have built my system with lfs (linux from scratch; we are talking about the
same, aren't we?), too.
i have enough space but not a very fast nor cheap internet access.

To Mr. Walter:
Yes, I am talking about the same LFS. If you have enough space, go for
a full installation of Gnome following LFS-Hints (fairly good guide for
the compilation). There'll be some problems, esp., for prerequisite
libraries, but you will solve them since you built a system already.

1. Running KDE apps under Gnome
Greetings:
I am running RH8 and am wondering how I might run a KDE app under Gnome.
Specifically, I use Gnome exclusively, but I would like to give KDevelop a
try (and it seems a waste to install all of KDE just for one application).
Any pointers? Thanks.
