Checkbook programs

Post by Randa » Sun, 24 Jan 1999 04:00:00

Well, I've been trying for about 2 weeks to get gnucash to work. Feels like
I've tried everything. I continue to get the error:

gnucash: error in loading shared libraries
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXmHTML.so.1.1: undefined symbol: XmeDrawShadows

I've tried reinstalling .86 version of lesstif. I tried building the latest
version with the 2.0 build options (supposed to work). I've looked all over for
a new libXmHTML that has a working XmeDrawShadows. No deal.

Is there another program similar to GnuCash around that will actually work?

Thanks,

Randy

I've been using an app called CBB (Check Book Balancer).  You can get it in an RPM
at: www.menet.umn.edu/~curt

It's a pretty straight-forward checkbook app with the basic feature set. It's not
as robust as GNUCash, but I like it for it's simplicity
