MetroLink X server + OpenGL trouble

Post by James Klin » Fri, 02 Aug 1996 04:00:00

I'm having trouble using Metrolink's multi-headed X server with
their OpenGL package.

When I configure the server to use only one monitor, all
OpenGL apps appear to work fine.  When another monitor is added, the
X server works well on both screens but any OpenGL app (nurbs, for
example) run in the first screen, :0.0, produces an error like this:

GLUT: Fatal Error in nurbs: visual with necessary capabilities not found.

Any OpenGL app run in :0.1 causes the X server to crash.

Is this a bug in MetroLink's Xserver or OpenGL or is their a fix
I can try?

I'll include all relevant version numbers and /var/log/Xerrors in
case that provides any clues.

Thanks for any help,
Jim.
