Very Computer

Hello,

I just installed Wordperfect today on my computer running Redhat 6 with
X11R6. However, as soon as the program starts, the Wordperfect
banner/logo appears on the screen, but it's totally wrong. It's all
black and white with lines through the drawing. Also all wordperfect
buttons are containing black, white and horizontal gray lines in them,
making them undistinguishable.
What could be wrong ?
I am using WindowManager in at 1280x1024x16 bit colors, however I tried
switching to KDE/GNOME/AnotherLevel, and to 24 bit colors, it's all the
same...

Anyone an idea ?

I had the same problem with SuSE 6.1 and running X at 16bit colors, but once I
switch back to 8bit everything is okay. I am not sure if that is Corel problem
or X.

Yeah, I've been told by those who know about such things that WP8 is
broken -- they don't understand 24-bit "packed" colour.

It should work at lower bit values. I have to use it at 32bpp or 16bpp.
