1. Shifted display on Diamond Stealth 64 Video VRAM (3240)

I recently setup Linux slackware 3.0 on a machine with a Diamond
Stealth 64 Video VRAM (model 3240, 968 chipset, TI3026 ramdac).
Everything comes up ok except the image on the screen is shifted by about
16 pixels to the left and wraps to the right side of the screen. The normal
blank screen with the fvwm pager box in the upper left corner starts up,
but the part of the left edge of the pager box is on the right side of the
screen. The XF86config file is unmodified from what xf86config wrote.

Is there any control parameters to adjust this?
