: Don't have that library file so that much makes sense....is it looking for

Download another copy.  It is looking for the dynamic Motif-1.2.4
library.  Apparently their first build did not have static Motif.  It
does now (at least on their main servers).  

BTW, it will require libc and libm, both a.out.
