by I am looking for a notebook to run LinuX and X11. The specification is the
following:
DX4/100 or Pentium 75
16 Mega mem
>800 Mega disk
ethernet PCMCIA card
640x480 lcd (TFT)
I am looking at some Dell model : lattitude XPi P75D. It looks good,
but it uses a Cirrus Logic CL-GD7542 video chipset, that is
not presently supported by XFree86. Does any body has experiences
with this notebook running Linux and X11, or any advice for
a good notebook (that I can found in France of course).
