<ctrl><alt> + or - doesn't work to change resolution

Post by Jed » Sun, 18 Apr 1999 04:00:00

How do I get the <ctrl><alt> + or - to work?  I need to try different
resolutions and would like to have a default resolution I can quickly
get back to.  Do I need to change anything in the XFConfig86 file for
the hot keys to work?

Thanks
Jed

<ctrl><alt> + or - doesn't work to change resolution

I had a similar problem.  I was using the + and - keys from the top of
the keyboard (next to the 0 and the backspace) and I couldn't understand
why it wasn't switching resolutions.  I used the + and - from the keypad
however and I switching resolutions like a madman.
I hope this helps you.

1. <><><> MOUNTING EXTENDED PARTITION <><><>

I have a 10 GB UDMA IDE drive formatted with Windows.  The first partition
is FAT32, and the second is NTFS.  I can successfully mount the first, but
not the second.  Any ideas?

Suse 7.2 on i86
the drive is mounted on /dev/hdc, and I CAN see hda1, but not hda2
