Is the Hercules Dynamite 128/Video card with the Tseng ET6000 chip
supported under X.  If yes, which server do you use and where is the dot
clock info?

Thanks in advance

The hercules Dynamite 128/video is supported using either the SVGA or W32
servers in release 3.2.
If you want acceleration use the W32 server, but if you want color depth use
the SVGA and set the option linear  as described in the SVGA server
documentation.
The DOT clock information is in the documentation.

XFree 3.2A (beta) SVGA server supports acceleration for ET6000 in all color
depths. I use it, it works great. Leave release 3.2 and go 3.2A, I'd say!

I second that.  I'm using the Dynamite 128/Video with the SVGA server
and it's really fast.  I got a 4MB card at http://www.necx.com for
under $140!!  Fastest scrolling I've ever seen, even in xemacs and
complex netscape pages.

Has anyone had experience using the Hercules Dynamite 128/Video under X
Windows.  It has a Tseng ET6000 chipset that I believe is compatible with
the Et4000 by Tseng.  Any experience offered appreciated.

Thanks in advance
