SWiM support

Following a number of postings from SWiM'ers, the following info may help :

1. We have a flaky mail connection - some mail just does not reach the
   destination's. This is true for

   and most users on xxxxxx.cern.ch

        Apologies to these folk.

We have sent you mail but it obviously got stuck. We'll resort to the
DOS system we have and try again!

2. There are 2 mxmkmf programs, one for R6 and the other for R5. If you
have changed either of these, please let us know.

Note that there are two mxmkmf files :

        mxm5kmf         X11R5
        mxmkmf          X11R6

3. Shared libraries :

        i)   Linux shared lib's and ELF format libs in the next few
days. It is likely that the Linux shared lib's will be out
slightly earlier than the ELF ones (given that ELF is
             rather new :)

ii)  Free upgrades will be available from ftp.lasermoon.co.uk

4. There is an account on ftp.lasermoon.co.uk for SWiM licencess which
contains the latest version of SWiM. The password changes very
frequently so please call us for the latest one!

more infomation or help. We are busy people, but will always reply (now
we know about the smail problem we make sure that the reply gets sent).
