I just recently purchased a Diamond Stealth 3D 3000 video board which
contains the S3 Virge-VX chip. I just also upgraded to Redhat 4.1 and
would like to know if the Virge xserver included will work with this
video board. If it doesn't, is there a patch or different xserver I
can download and where?

Since 3.3 is available now, you'd want to be getting 3.3 instead.
There are two servers available for the ViRGE in 3.3: the old
XF86_S3V and a new driver in the SVGA server which seems to be
working better (and faster) for many people.
