Try:  Maximize 100 no.<100     # these are the width and height % to
maximize to
On my 1024x768 screen "Maximize 100 97" works perfect.

Fvwm95 taskbar & maximize Q

Post by Curt Schemm » Wed, 08 Jan 1997 04:00:00

Greetings:

Is it possible to maximize a window and NOT have it use the bottom 20 pixels
or so?  I would like to be able to max a window, yet not have the fvwm95
taskbar overlap the last few pixels...

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Curt

Sure.  The Maximize function defines the percentage in width and
height.  So, mine is set at:

  Maximize 100 97

1. taskbar problems - minimize/maximize

I installed the KDE 2 update from the SuSE ftp site.  Later I grabbed
the latest KDE-Support and KDE-Libs from the KDE site, compiled,
installed (I made sure to use the '--prefix= ..' with configure so the
libraries would be installed in the kde2 directory (not kde).

Everything is working great with one exception.  Programs minimized to
the panel's taskbar can not be 'un'-minimized.  I have a work-around: I
can move the application to a different desktop and it is
'un'-minimized.

Another data point - when I right-click on the app, in the taskbar, the
minimize icon is always 'active'.

Anybody seen this problem before and knows how to fix it, I would
greatly appreciate any help.

thanks,
   Allen
