I just bought Applixware. It came with Red Hat 5.0 so I installed
that also. However, when I start the applixware, it is black and white.
Absolutely no colors. There is no warning about the program is unable to
allocate any colors. It just comes up black and white.
Any ideas how to fix that?
My system: RH 5.0, Suse Xserver, Matrox Millenium II AGP.

This is just the default setting. Go to Applixware Preferences: Colour:
Number of Colours to Use For Applications. Set this to something other
than 2 (options are 2, 8, 27, 64, 125 or 216). When you restart Applix
all should be well.

This happened to me and I had to cut down on the colors I used in my
window manager. Try cutting back on fancy graphics and toolbars.
If you use AfterStep - change. fvwm2 or even WindowMaker uses less colors.
