When I start up X, using the SVGA server, it automatically uses mode
320x200. I tried to make the default 800x600 in XF86Config but it doesnt
override. Anyone have any ideas?

OK, so I finally read the part that says when using a Generic VGA driver,
XF86_SVGA will only do 320x200...
Using the mono server at the moment, and all is well at 640x480.
