This problem is well-known on the net but hasn't made it into the XF86
3.1.2 config script yet, AFAIK. Just add 'option "Diamond"' to the server
section of your XF86Config to solve your display/mouse shift problem.
You may also need 'option "slow_vram"' if you're running at 1024x768 or
greater. Some people also seem to need 'option "dac_8_bit"' for reasons
I know not.
From the Diamond Multimedia page (http://www.diamondmm.com/linux.html),
extracted from someplace in the XF86 distribution,
Section "Device"
Identifier "Diamond Stealth 64 VIDEO VRAM (968)"
Option "dac_8_bit"
Option "Diamond"
EndSection
Be sure to visit Diamond's XF86 page. They have a counter on that page,
perhaps because they'd like to gague the relevance of Linux support.
Cheers,
