EMAIL PROBLEMS !!!

Post by CEO » Sun, 24 Jan 1999 04:00:00

I have setup a Linux Redhat 5.1 Pop3 email server

I have a user base of about 500

I keep getting complains that some of the users get late email deliveries ?

senario :

user A sends an email to user B and user C

user C receives the email but user B does not ?

user B will only get the email after a day or two ?

I am using Netscape Communicator 4.07

Any suggestions ?

I have checked the logs and I can see that user C and B have received the
email right on the second when it was sent

I think it could be Netscape Communicator 4.07 having problems trying to
read the email from the server ?

Any suggestions ?

Regards

Andy

1. Email Problems: Null's before the header of emails

I have NO idea what is causing this to happen.  We are running Red Hat 5.0
for our virtual mail server.  Every now and then we get a complaint that a
virtual mail customer cannot access his/her virtual mail account.  I vi the

header.  This of course screws up the files and makes it unreadable for

have made no changes to the box, any suggestions are EXTREMELY appreciated.
