Hi -
Has anyone had success (with Suse, say, or any other driver) getting
Linux - X up with the new Diamond Viper 550 ?
I got my current setup with Diamond Viper 330 to work great
using the Suse driver, and wondered if a similar fix will work for
a new (contemplated purchase) machine with the Diamond 550.

You'll need to upgrade your Xfree86 to 3.3.3. That has TnT support.

I'm not getting a TNT based card because 3.3.4 might not have
any support for these cards anymore. Nvidia apparenlty is
not willing to release the necessary information and
obfuscated the source for the 3.3.3 release.
