Subject: WINE and os/2-mdos files instead of w95 in using lotus123

I tried 123 and w95 files under linux-wine and it seems to work, I can
read, update and write a spreadsheet, althouth the edit field often contains
stuff left over from prior edit.

However, if I change the wine config file to use only my /os2/mdos/... files
123 does come up but incompletely and that window, not the entire "X" session,
is locked.

I like the the idea of having wine but want to drop w95 completely.
If we have to keep w95 files then OK, but which files are really necessary,
and can we simply keep a <C:> dos with some windows files to do the job?

1. Wine,wine,wine - I need help with wine

Help
I down loaded and installed Wine to Linux 2.0.22 and Xwindows (XFree).
I think it's installed correctly.  I am getting a 'drive not found/path
not found' error.  I have my wine.conf in the right place (I think).
I'm using Win95 and hda3 and Linux on hda1.  I need a reality check.  Is
it hard to set up Wine?  Does someone have a working wine.conf file that
might guide me to a working wine.   Wine, wine, wine and beer. Ok I'll
stop wineing

Thanks
George
