Compiling OSF/Motif 2.0 under Linux?

Post by Jason Roberts » Sun, 19 Feb 1995 19:08:26

Has anyone been able to compile Motif 2.0 under Linux w/ XFree86 3.1.1?  I've
been trying it, but I get an ugly load of problems.  First, I had to butcher
all my Imake.???? files to even get past the first stage.  But then it just
doesn't work after that.  xmkmf works, make includes seems to work, but
make depend gives all kinds of problems.  Also, if I go into the Xm library
directory and do xmkmf, the generated Makefile doesn't do anything if I type
"make".  The all:: section says (Null_CMD).

Any help greatly appreciated.

Our computer center bought a side license of the OSF/Motif 2.0 sources.
Has anyone tried to compile this under FreeBSD 2.1.5 or higher?
