Hello,

I am trying to fill out my XF86Config for Linux, and I need help with
filling out the ModeLine information for my Samsung 17GLi monitor, or
a pointer to where I can get more information.  (Most particularly,
the dotclock and horizontal and vertical timing.)

I've read the XFree86 HOWTO v3.0, but when I looked in my monitor's
user manual, the information XF86Config needs doesn't seem to appear
in the monitor manual's "Factory Modes Timing Signal Chart."

I admit ignorance about this (in fact this is my first PC ever), so I
apologize if this is a stupid question, but I'd appreciate any help or
information you could provide so I can fill out my monitor's ModeLine
in XF86Config.

*Btw, I am using the Slackware 3.0 Linux distribution from the Oct 95
Walnut Creek CD-ROM.  I have a PCI ATI Mach64 GPT w/ 4Mb VRAM with the
ATI 88800GX chipset and ATI 68860 RAMDAC; I might change to a
Diamond card.)  Ideally, I'd like to run in 1024x768 mode.
