Very Computer

I have been able to enter startx for 16bpp using "startx -bpp 16" but
it won't work with openwin. Is there a way I can set my x-server
default to 16bpp instead of 8bpp so if I enter openwin it will take
the default value of 16bpp. Uptil now I go into "startx -bpp 16"
and then change my window manager to olvwm and it works fine.

add -bpp 16 after severflag

that`s it, but I think there is a small prob with openwin in 16 bpp
namely some colors go wrong.
