Very Computer

Hello!

I'm running an XF86 on a SuSE 6.3 linux box. As graphics adapter buidt in I
found a SIS 6326 which is supported.

When starting X it displays 10 min a blank screen (but already in graphics
mode). In this time I can't change to any tty and over the network I only get
replies to ping, but not to telnet. (Over services are not yet tested.) After
this period the X Screen ist displayed suddenly and the work can be continued as
if nothing had happend.

It doesn't seem to be a hardware problem, as we need a dualboot on this machine
an Win'98 runs fine on it.

Hello again!

Here are some more informations about the problem:
I've logged the output of ps ax every sec. This showed me that all programs
(includes fvwm2, fvwm stuff, ...) are started correctly within a few secs. Only
the display remains dark for a long time.
