I am trying to setup X by using XF86Setup. The problem I get is there
in not /dev/console in my mechine. What is /dev/console, and where
can I get a copy of it? Thanks a lot!!!

ln -s /dev/tty0 /dev/console
Whoever made that distribution, please fix it.

To create it, as root, go to /dev and type:
MAKEDEV console
and that should make the required /dev/console device.
