by I am running a GNU fortran program in XFree86 under Linux 1.2.13. I have
16MB Physical RAM and 90MB swap space. If I open 3 or 4 windows at the
same time a segmentation error occurs from the fortran program. I assume
it's due to lack of memory because it will be back OK if I close a
window. I checked my swap usage with command "free", it never exceeded
10MB in the used swap. Why the fortran program does not utilize more swap
space before it complains about the memory shortage? Anyone knows about
this? Any solutions?
