i got mandrake7.1 installed, during
installation, when chosing monitor, i
picked high frequency, but when i boot
up , my monitor goes on stand by
and
all my lights flashes. how can i change
my monitor setting so i can
finnaly get into linux. TK

Hi,

Try to switch to a console by pressing (left)Ctrl-(left)Alt-(F1...F6)
simultaneously.

When the monitor goes strange hit "Alt + Ctrl + F1" to change to a
console.

Log in as root, run "init 3" then run "Xconfigurator"
