1. RPM *&@!^%#: gimp won't run (undefined symbol: g_strdelimit)

Hi,

I have been trying to install  IMLIB - in the processs added and removed

various rpms (I did not remove anythign that other packages were
dependent on - I might have overwritten some files with newer versions
).

Anyways, now I am unable to run   GIMP   !!!!!
I get the following error message when I try and run  GIMP

gimp: error in loading shared libraries
/usr/lib/libgtk.so.1: undefined symbol: g_strdelimit

WHAT am I missing ????!!!!!!!!!! Please help ........ rpm is turning out
to be
quite frustrating !
