I use a Powergraph 64 Video PCI with a MagMXP17F and here are
some lo-res Modelines that work for me (straight from my XF86Config):

# Low-res Doublescan modes
# If your chipset does not support doublescan, you get a 'squashed'
# resolution like 320x400.

It's only possible if you have a really high end monitor. Last
I checked, the mga driver didn't support double-scan modes, so it
would be difficult to get a 320x200 mode without the vertical
refresh rate going through the roof. Maybe next beta.
You might be able to get something like 400x300 though.

Yep, we don't support the doublescan stuff yet. No guarantees, but it
should be in the next beta. (It's a matter of setting the correct CRTC
registers up to do it, and recognising when we should do it).
