I would appreciate it if someone could help with the XF86Config for
#9 GXE PRO 2MB VRAM, and the MAG DX17F monitor.
Resolutions of 1280x1024 and 1024x768 would be appreciated.
Any and all help on this matter appreciated.

Due to very strange and silly circumstances with my broken mail server
Personally I would like to know how to switch to different color bit
resolutions. I know that ctl-alt??-'+' changes the resolution but I
don't think it flips from 8 bit to 16 bit to etc etc...Comments anybody?

Linux X'perts,
Could some kind soul please geve me the XF86Config for the
#9 GXE PRO 2MB VRAM and
MAG DX17F monitor.
I've tried the sample provided with the Linux distribution, but when I
startx, the screen goes blank. Alt-Ctrl-Backspace brings the screen back,
and output similar to 'X -probeonly' is printed on the screen. This
printout seems to be fine, with the correct resolution modes etc.
Any and all help on this matter appreciated.
