ATI Graphics Pro turbo or Number Nine 9FX Motion 771

Which one of these cards would you get?

I am looking for a PCI video card with 4 megs.  I have roughly
narrowed it down to ATI Graphics Pro turbo or Number Nine 9FX Motion
771

I will be using it mostly under Xfree in 32 bit color mode at
1024x768 ( roughly ).  Is there any problem with either of these
cards at this resolution or color depth?

Also,  I will also be using it occassionaly under windows 95 and
dos for games.

Any preferences?  Is there something better?  Is there some wonderful
card for $30 that I just missed :) ?

Check out www.xfree86.org.

Seems ATI has yet another chipset out, may only be supported by xf
3.1.2d *beta*, while I see no indication of #9 problems.

Make sure you have a good return policy.

My experience with ATI Winturbo (VRAM Mach64, like GPT)
is that it is impossible to control size/placement via software (no EPROM
on the vid card). Win95 drivers do allow this, but only W95 drivers!
(well, if you're using dos/win  it can change your command.com to
make it work)
For OS/2 and Linux I rely on my monitor's ability to store separate size/
position info for every resolution/refresh/depth setting!!!

1. Numbre Nine 9FX Motion 771 vs Diamond Stealth 3400

Since I just buught a good 17" monitor I was thinking to get
also a good video board...
I was thinking about one with 64 bit chip and 4 Mb of VRAM, I
will use it with Win96 and Linux

Finally I decided it will be one of the following:

- Numbre Nine 9FX Motion 771 4Mb
- Diamond Stealth 3400

What do you think which is the best?
