I'm running linux 0.99.14 and have the following system:
cyrix math coprocessor
Logitech Bus Mouse (mouseman bus)
Pro Audio Spectrum 16
El Cheapo Modem (2400 baud)
2 IDE (85Meg Maxtor, 212Meg Western Digital)
Cardinal 732 graphics card (ET4000 chipset)
I am having problems with my bus mouse. Everything else works (haven't
tested Sound Card). I'm running the SCSI kernel now, was running IDE
kernel. I keep getting "device or resouce busy". I have the mouse set
to com 2 and the modem to com 3. I've tried recompiling the kernel but
kept getting signal 11. Got new ram and tried again but did something
stupid, (rebooted during compile) and the kernel souce code is hosed.
Will the latest release of linux take care of my mouse problem and allow
use of my sound card?? Any info greatly appreciated. Please respond by
access to news groups.
Thanx in advance
