I have a Chips & Tech 65545 display adaptor and cannot seem to get it to
display in 1024x768x256 mode in X.

Has anyone been successful with this card?

The best I've done with XFree86 3.1.2 (or 3.1.1) is 800x600x256. This
on a NEC Versa P laptop with an 800x600 active matrix LCD, with
internal, external, or both. The CT65545 support is rudimentary in
XFree86, I feel rather fortunate to get that much. See

for more information. If anyone has ever gotten a CT65545 to do
better than 800x600x256, please let me know.
