Hi,

Does anyone know how to get truecolor modes work with a 1MB CLGD5424 ?

I took a look at the XF86 sources and found that the 32bpp mode is in
fact a 4-byte aligned 24bpp mode. My card can do 24bpp (under svgalib)
but it doesn't work under X.

I'm not experienced in writing/hacking X drivers - is there already a
driver or a patch available that makes XF86 support this mode ?
As this problem arises on each 1MB card, I hope someone has already
tried it with success.

Or is there another X server available that supports 1MB truecolor?

Has anyone managed to solve this problem otherwise?
