what do you do?
just replace kde with enlightenment in .xinitrc ?
(or .xsession if you use XDM)

1. cant connect to web server on localhost

Hello,

I am having an odd problem on my freebsd box. I recentlyt installed
apache (1.3.9) it starts up fine, the log reports this:

        Apache/1.3.9 (FreeBSD) PHP/4.0B2 configured -- resuming normal
operations

the ServerName (apache.conf) is set to "localhost"

but I  can't seem to connect to it. using telnet I get this:
        telnet localhost 80
        Trying 127.0.0.1...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused

and of course I can ping localhost:
        bash-2.03# ping localhost
PING localhost (127.0.0.1): 56 data bytes
        64 bytes from 127.0.0.1: icmp_seq=0 ttl=254 time=55.265 ms

what am i missing?

thanks!
bob c
