Help: fonts too small in Netscape.

Hi!

I think this must be a common problem but I can't find a good answer.

I have a 1024x768 resolution with a 14" monitor which gives me about
100dpi. With this configuration several pages are unreadable with
NS 4.04 (specially those with stylesheets were the font sizes are
defined).

Is there a way to revert this situation? I changed the default fonts
from the 75dpi set to the 100dpi but that doesn't solve everything.

Also, the xdpyinfo says I have a 75dpi monitor. Can I change that?
Will it change anything?

Thank you.

Yes, you can. Read man Xserver or man XFree86. You can specify
-dpi 100 in X server command line
(.xserverrc if you use startx or /etc/X11/xdm/Xsetup_0 if you use
xdm). I don't know if it helps with Netscape, but I did so to make
my Tk scripts display GIS maps in correct scale and it helps.

: Thank you.

Ummm, have you tried going to Netscape preferences and changing the
font size? Worked for me.

1. Netscape small font too small question

You received with 1.1n a file called , i believe, netscape.ad.  That little
baby tells you more than you need to know about fonts.  also you can change
your font path to 100dpi, you are probably using 75 dpi.

xset fp= /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/

is what i use in the .xinitrc
