Well, in my version, I click on "Options", then select "Font". I can eitherQuote:>II. does anyone know how to configure the fonts for x3270?
ftp://ftp.netscape.com/
AFAIR it's part of communicator complete install.
You may also try tn3270. You can even use it on console which is not
that bad if you are using some 50 rows at 132 columns each text mode.
I don't know where to get tn3270 but
http://ftpsearch.ntnu.no/
is your friend.
Hint: If function keys won't work use ESC-1 for F1, ESC-2 for F2, ...
F11 and F12 are ESC-- and ESC-+ if I correctly remember the US key
bindings - anyway, use the next two keys in the number row. AFAIR PF2
maps to Ctrl-Z and PF1 to Ctrl-A. They have switched of our mainframe
for Y2k incompatibility of OS and not having money to upgrade to a
new version of the OS.

I am trying to use the 3270 emulation feature of the telnet client:
$ telnet
telnet> emulate 3270
Now emulating a 3270 terminal
telnet>
When I open a 3270 session to our mainframe however, I can't seem to use
what appears to be the 'clear' function default of '^z'. I am doing
this all through telnet from another machine, which may be causing
trouble. Is anyone aware of how to use the mapped keys in this 3270
emulator?
Thanks,
-Matt-
