XBF_I740 server fails under Red Hat 5.2

I have Red Hat 5.2 and a VideoExcel i740 8MB AGP video card on a Celeron
300A system.  I have installed the XBF-i740-glibc-1.0.0-1.i386.rpm
package and then made the link to

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 Mar 16 23:08 /etc/X11/X ->
                                            /usr/X11R6/bin/XBF_i740*

I then installed xf86config-glibc-1.0.0.i386.tgz in the proper
directory. I then used xf86config to set up my new server for my card.
I made all of the selections required and the card that I picked from
the list was the Intel i740 (generic).  I then try startx but I only get
an error message:

Config Error: /etc/XF86Config:534

        ViewPort    0 0
        ^^^^^^^^^
Mode name expected
_X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno = 111
giving up.^M
xinit:  Connection refused (errno 111):  unable to connect to X server^M
xinit:  No such process (errno 3):  Server error.

I have included my XF86Config file and the output of attempting startx,
as attachments.  To me, the key error seems to be the

        ViewPort  0  0

on line 534 of the XF86Config file, but I now almost nothing about X11.

Hi,

You must add the video modes you want to use after the keyword "Modes"
for example :
Modes "800x600" "1024x768"

1. Red Hat 5.2 install fails

When I'll try to install RedHat from the supplment disk the floppy disk is
searching but nothing happend. I have made two floppy's. One with the boot
image and one with the supplement stuf. First floppy everything is ok. I
choose smb image and must remove the boot and put in the supplement. So far
so good. I choose custum installation and then I choose no scsi because I
have IDE. Then I choose disk druid and then the diskette station is
searching I can hear that but nothing happend. I have tryed several
diskettes, three diskette stations and download the images again. But after
the choose diskdruid or fdisk the installation hangs. Does anyone know where
I must search for the problem??? Is it hardware, software or the bios. I
realy don't know. Thanks
