Error with S3 X server and Fonts, Help....

Post by J. Christopher Bianch » Wed, 26 Jul 1995 04:00:00

Sorry, I forgot a subject the first time this was posted.

I have a Micron 100 MHrz, with a Diamond Stealth 64 DRAM card and I'm trying to get
XFree86 running.  I think I'm close but I'm still getting errors.  The output I get is
attached below.  At the bottom it says It can't find font 'fixed'.  I haven't
specified this font anywhere in the XF86Config file so I don't know why it is looking
for it.  Is this really a error with the fonts or is there something else that is not
setup properly?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Please email response to:

Thank you.
