First, thanks to people that either sent me the Rage 128 server or provided
an alternate address to download it.
As some of you asked for, I provide here my config file. Configuration was
very easy. I did not put any clock line, as the server seems to be able to
select itself the best clock. I checked this by running X -probeonly,
looking for every mode what was the clock used : the values match the ones
provided in the card documentation (table of resolution / dot clock).
The only problem I had, is that the /etc/X11/X was a symbolic link to a
server, and that the /usr/bin/X11/X is another symbolic link to a potentialy
different server. I made all my tests with the second one, and did not
understand why startx didn't work (startx uses the first one) !
Antoine.
