Hello Folks:

Just got up on Linux, and happily chugging through system configuration.

I've got XFree 3.1.1 working with my diamond stealth 64 vram and it's
supported by the xf86config program that installs automatically with that
version of XFree.  Just type xf86config and run through the script.  The
dotclock is ICD 2061a and the RamDac is bm 485 or something like that
(email me if you need the specific,  but it's in the data base text files).

If you still have trouble or are using a previous release of XFree (mine
is 6 months old, so I don't know why you'd use a much older one), I can
email my config file to you.

I'm trying to get my Stealth 64 VIDEO VRAM to work with my NEC
MultiSync XV17 Monitor...no luck so far. Is the Stealth 64 VRAM
the same card as the 64 VIDEO VRAM?

If so, would REALLY appreciate your config file

        Well, I'm gonna post it to the newsgroup so that everyone can see
it.  It works for a Diamond Stealth 64 w/2M of video ram, driving an NEC
Multisync XE15 monitor @800x600x64M.  Your milage may vary...

        No. The VIDEO VRAM has a S3 968-chip and a ti3026-Ramdac,
        the old one has a S3 964.
