I am using Slackware-3, and put "/usr/X11/bin/xdm" at the bottm of
rc.local. But the problem is that I cannot see anything during
shutdown. So, I have to kill xdm, then login as root, and then
shutdown; it is tedious.
How to setup xdm for a better configuration????
