Anyone who's gotten the Millenium 2 to work in XFree, what server
did you use, and what special things did you have to do to it to make it
work?

You are out of luck. The Millenium II is not yet supported by XFree86. =
Because
the chipset (MGA-2164) is different from the Millenium I (MGA-2064) there=
 is no
easy way to get it up and running. I faced the same problem not willing =
to work
with VGA or to wait until Matrox would release (they still haven=B4t, =
AFAIK) the
specs to the XFree folks, so I spent 100$ and bought Accelerated X 3.1 =
from
www.xig.com. They have a beta patch ready for the Millenium II and the =
Mystique
220. If you can=B4t afford to wait (and who can?), this seems to be the =
only
working solution in the near future. You can download a demo and apply =
the patch
to the demo of Accelerated X 3.1 to see if it runs on your machine, too. =
I=B4m
very satisfied with the product running 1600x1200x64K at 80Hz on a Nokia =
445Xi.

Matthias
