by I am running a system with a VideoLogic GrafixStar 600 card (ET6000
based) and a Proview PV-772IM 17" monitor which has a horizontal sync
range 30-70kHz and a vertical sync range 50-110.
In 24 bits per pixel mode W95 and XFree86 v3.2 (W32 driver) both support
1024x768, but after upgrading to 3.3 (SVGA server) [mainly to get the
1156x864 resolution in the lower bpp modes - I mostly use 16bpp] I find
that it won't go better than 800x600 in 24 bpp mode [up to 1200x1024 is
supported in both 8 & 16 bit modes -- albeit only at about 60Hz].
Is there any way around this?
