xmcd + motif2.0 = seg fault ! help!!

Post by dsea.. » Thu, 21 Dec 1995 04:00:00

I got xmcd 1.4 and tried to compile it with redhat's motif 2.0. It
compiles fine when I go to run it it seg faults. Any ideas? I didn't see
that author's e-mail address anywhere in the docs.

The seg fault is due to a bug in Motif 2.0.  It can be worked around
by patching the source of xmcd 1.4.  Write me directly for the patch.

Hi Ti:

source code by disabling pixmap on 4 button labels on the left
(as far as I remember). They always display text now. My patch
definitelly downgrades xmcd. If you patch is better why don't you write to me
or
post it.

P.S. Thank you for xmcd. I love it.

I agree. Please post your patch or perhaps you could bundle it with xmcd
(xmcd-1.4a?).
