How do you like Caldera's version? And...does it support NFS?
How do you like Caldera's version? And...does it support NFS?
I won a copy at a linux users group, (by the way, Thanks Caldera for
supporting user groups.) I like it very much. It is based on Redhat 2.1,
though upgrading RPMS or entirely to Redhat 3.0.3, newer fixs is easy.
It has NFS of course, plus Novell client software that is very easy to
use, and you can get SAMBA for Windows*, NETATALK for Macs*, PPP and SLIP
for dialup systems, very System V'ish, and X windows based, but remotely
administering it is very easy also.
Highly recommended.

Waite Group Press is looking for someone who can write a book on Internet
or Intranet publishing using Caldera's Network Desktop. I would appreciate
hearing from anyone who's using it, even if you're not interested in
writing the book (if you'd like to share your comments).
If you are interested in writing or participating in a book on Caldera's
will send you more information. Please include some background information
on yourself in your message.
Thanks,
