I just installed fvwm95 window manager and now when I do
startx I get a server error because it can't find the "default" font.
Before this I was running afterstep just fine. The only thing
that I had to change was my .xinitrc file to exec fvwm95 ...instead of
exec afterstep and I added the .fvwm95rc file.
I tried to switch back to afterstep and it will not run either.
If fact no window managers will run because of this server error,
obviously.
So, what does fvwm95 do to hose my fonts? I checked my config
file /etc/XF86Config and the font path names are correct. Where
does X look for this default font?
I also tried xinit >& x.log and looked for error messages and I only
see the server error complaining about the default font and nothing
else.
Anyone have a solution?
