1. 800x600 using HT216-32 with Acerview 34T

I've read through README.Video7 and VideoModes.doc and can't seem to find
the answer to the following problem.  Any help would be appreciated.
I've setup XFree 3.1 to work in 800x600 mode using a Headlands Tech. 216-32
video card and an AcerView 34T monitor.  When I move the mouse button, and
sometimes when I'm just typing, I get horizontal lines that flash partway
across my screen.  They appear to arise from the edges of brightly colored
images and only go partly across the screen.  I've also consistently seen
the problem when I use images such as world to lock screen.  The lines
always go to the right of the image.  I've tried changing the length of my
horizontal and/or vertical synch pulses with no luck.  The relevant portions
