TK not compiling under X!

Post by Dean » Thu, 03 Oct 1996 04:00:00

I have been getting these error messages when I attempt to compile a TK app
under Slackware Linux for X windows:

/lib/libtcl.so: undefined reference to `dlerror'
/lib/libtcl.so: undefined reference to `dlopen'
/lib/libtcl.so: undefined reference to `dlsym'
make: *** [tkmixer] Error 1

I've never had any problems before with compiling TCL/TK apps for X.  It's
only in this latest incarnation of Slackware that it has done this.  It's
driving me crazy.  Am I missing a lib or a file?  Please help

you did not add all of the things you needed to the Makefile.  find
the line with -ieee and add -ldl to that line.
