netscape bus error

I keep getting a bus error when I run netscape remotely.  It runs fine
if I run it localy, or if I redirect the display to a sun work station.
But if I direct it to my 386 it freezes.  I started the X server on the
386 with the command X -query <my ip address>.  every thing works fine
but netscape.
Any ideas?

1. Netscape: bus error with java

I am running Netscape 2.0b6 and Red Hat 2.1.  When I try to access
http://sun.java.com (or any page using java) Netscape exits with an error
message 'Bus error'.  Has anyone else experienced this problem?
